Position Summary: 

The Logistics Program Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, driving transportation optimization, supply chain resilience, and ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods across the supply chain. This role focuses on shipment execution, carrier coordination, issue resolution, and continuous improvement to support business and customer requirements. Act as a subject matter expert and key advisor to senior leadership on logistics performance, risk management, and supply chain transformation.

Principal Accountabilities:  

-Shipment Planning & Execution Manage Asia Outbound shipments (air, ocean, and ground) to meet delivery commitments, ensure accurate shipping documents, monitor shipment status and proactively manage potential delays

-Carrier & Supplier Coordination Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and shippers to ensure smooth operations. Manage booking, scheduling, and transportation capacity planning. Support contract compliance and service level agreements (SLAs)

-Issue Resolution & Escalation Identify and resolve logistics issues such as delays, carrier rollovers, customs clearance problems, and capacity constraints.Follow standard escalation processes and ensure timely communication to stakeholders. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.

-Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate logistics data in ERP systems.Track KPIs (OTD, transit time, freight cost, exception rate). Provide regular reporting and insights to internal teams.

-Executive Stakeholder Management Present logistics performance, cost outlook, and improvement opportunities to senior management. Influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve enterprise-wide supply chain objectives.

-Risk Management & Business Continuity Establish logistics risk assessment and mitigation plans for geopolitical, capacity, regulatory, and operational disruptions. Lead crisis management activities during supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.

-Supply Chain Transformation Sponsor and lead logistics digitalization initiatives including transportation visibility, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled planning tools. Drive standardization and best practices across regions.

Minimum Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field

-10+ years of experience in global logistics, transportation, or supply chain management

-Demonstrated experience managing regional or global logistics operations in a multinational environment.

-Proven track record in leading complex logistics projects and transformation initiatives.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Strong knowledge of global transportation markets, carrier management, deep understanding of international trade compliance, customs regulations, and global logistics networks.

-Experience leveraging data-driven insights to improve logistics performance and decision-making.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment

Preferred Skills

-CSCP, CPIM, CLTD certification.

-Experience supporting logistics operations across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Americas.

-Exposure to transportation management systems (TMS), logistics control towers, and supply chain digitalization initiatives.

-Experience in manufacturing, high-tech or electronics industry

-Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance

-Exposure to data tools (Excel advanced skills, Power BI is a plus)

-Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma is a plus)
