Description and Requirements
The role’s primary focus is to:
Lead Asset Management on transactions under administration:
- Act as the LGFS Asset Management lead on all transactions where the customer has entered administration, receivership, liquidation or an equivalent insolvency process.
- Engage directly with administrators, insolvency practitioners and their advisors to protect LGFS’s position as lessor and owner of the assets.
- Coordinate with Credit, Legal and external counsel on security interests, ownership evidence, proofs of debt and claims (e.g. PPSR or equivalent registrations by jurisdiction).
- Negotiate outcomes with administrators, including continued use and rental payments, asset buy-outs, novation to a purchaser of the business, or return of equipment.
- Manage the physical recovery of assets where required: location, collection, condition reporting, data sanitisation and redeployment or remarketing.
- Model and track loss-given-default outcomes and recovery economics for each administration case; report status and expected outcomes to stakeholders.
Provide pricing backup and assistance to the primary pricer:
- Act as trained backup to the primary pricing function, able to independently price standard transactions and support complex bids during peak periods or absence.
- Support deal economics modelling, including IRR, NPV, residual value impact and funding costs, in line with LGFS pricing governance and approval matrices.
- Assist with residual value research across IT hardware categories (PCs, servers, storage, AI/GPU assets) using secondary market, auction and ITAD channel data.
- Support scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate risk/return trade-offs on transactions.
Drive special projects for Asset Management:
- Own and drive delivery of special projects across the Asset Management function, from scoping through to implementation and handover to business-as-usual.
- Examples include process automation (including the use of AI), remarketing channel development, EOL portfolio analytics, data quality initiatives and new market or product support.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs (Operations, Pricing, Credit, Legal, Sales) and manage project timelines, actions and stakeholder communication.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and highlight process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across Asset Management and pricing processes, including the use of AI.
