We are looking for a Lenovo Consumer Tablet 4P Manager to help build Japan PCSD’s next growth engine.

About the Team

Japan PCSD is building a Growth Strategy Team to transform Tablet business into strategic growth engines for sustainable growth. The team will strengthen business ownership, co-ownership with core product and channel leaders, and disciplined execution across business planning, GTM, solution development, and performance management. This is the role to lead the end-to-end 4P agenda for Lenovo’s Consumer Tablet business in Japan, and converts market, customer and competitor insights into winning product, pricing, channel and promotion choices, then mobilizes Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Asia Pacific teams to deliver revenue, market share and profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy and Business Management

  • Build annual and quarterly business plans based on market, customer and competitor analysis.  
  • Own revenue, profit, product mix and market share priorities, with clear risks, opportunities and countermeasures.  
  • Design the product lineup and pricing architecture across premium, mainstream and entry segments.  
  • Translate the three-year strategy into executable quarterly priorities and measurable outcomes.  

4P Execution and Performance Management

  • Lead product, price, place and promotion decisions across Retail, eTail and Lenovo/NEC web channels.  
  • Manage sales promotion budgets, rebate programs and business-as-usual and seasonal campaign cadence with financial discipline.  
  • Plan key seasonal events through competitive pricing and targeted promotions. Use analytics-driven digital marketing to improve campaign efficiency and conversion.  
  • Align sales plans, demand assumptions and supply forecasts to support product availability and inventory health.  
  • Communicate strategy and drive implementation across Sales and other cross-functional teams.  
  • Position Lenovo as a technology leader through AI-enabled experiences and advanced gaming capabilities while Strengthening portfolio coverage. 
  • Increase revenue through targeted upsell and cross-sell programs in direct channel. 
  • Expand Telesales contribution through incentive programs and performance management.

Requirements

Must Have

  • More than three years of experience in business planning, strategy or a related role in the ICT industry.  
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving capability, with a disciplined fact-based approach.  
  • Logical communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse functions.  
  • Business-level Japanese and English.  
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capability.  

Good to Have

  • Experience in Consumer sales, marketing or operations.  
  • Working knowledge of P&L management and commercial finance.  
  • Project management experience in a cross-functional environment.  
  • Experience in a technology, consumer goods or consulting organization.  

Candidate Profile

A commercially minded strategist who is equally comfortable with data and execution. The successful candidate can connect customer insights, product choices, pricing, marketing investment and channel actions into one coherent business plan. The candidate influences without relying on hierarchy, communicates clearly in both Japanese and English, and maintains momentum across multiple stakeholders.

  • Technology: Business strategy, planning or commercial roles at a hardware, software or digital platform company.  
  • Consumer Goods: Brand, category, commercial planning or go-to-market roles.  
  • Consulting: Strategy, technology or business transformation experience.
