As a Learning Manager at Amazon, you will play a vital role in developing and managing a team of trainers who are responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences to our associates and managers. Working closely with Process Engineers, you will collaborate with operations teams to ensure our training programs meet our customers' needs and align with our company's mission to be the most customer-centric company in the world.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop training plans that minimize operational disruption while ensuring high-quality training delivery
  • Audit training/coaching quality and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Plan and execute the recruitment and development of top-performing instructors
  • Ensure positive and effective collaboration between the learning team and other stakeholders
  • Manage a team of Trainers and support their professional development
  • Analyze and interpret metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training to the learning team on changes to learning materials/processes
  • Develop planning and capacity calculations for new hire training
  • Support the leadership team with reporting on AA distribution according to training plans and cross-training strategies across processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field experience
  • Experience collaborating with global and local stakeholders
  • Experience in oral and written communication in English
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a training role, including technical training, or a mix of training, performance management and coaching/mentoring, or experience planning
  • Experience working with KPIs and SLAs
  • Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Agile methods and processes experience
