Start date: September /October 2026 Duration: 6 months Location: Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg  Time Type: Full-time Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy, and our Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg is the cornerstone of European production. Within our Learning & Development, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Talent Development & Operations Excellence Intern to help us work smarter. In this role you will improve and automate how our team operates — building digital solutions and simple applications (including AI-supported tools) that make our training, onboarding, and learning-management (LMS) processes faster and more reliable. You will work directly with colleagues to turn manual, repetitive tasks into scalable solutions with measurable impact, while also supporting training delivery and other pillars where needed. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow at the intersection of process automation, digital solutions, and talent development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support process-automation projects, turning manual, repetitive workflows into efficient digital solutions with measurable time savings (e.g. knowledge-sharing platform, internal L&D tools)
  • Build and maintain applications and automations — including AI-supported tools — that make our learning-management (LMS), onboarding, and reporting processes more efficient
  • Work directly with stakeholders across the department to understand requirements and turn vague problem statements into working solutions
  • Collaborate with the Talent Development team to prepare and deliver training in German and English for GIGA leads, and support the onboarding of new colleagues
  • Analyze current L&D and operational processes to identify and prioritize the highest-impact automation and improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in Industrial, Process, Software or Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related field
  • Genuine interest in automation and building digital tools, with a hands-on, self-starter mentality
  • Comfortable learning and applying AI tools and no-/low-code automation platforms
  • Experience building small apps, automations, or AI-supported solutions (feel free to share a portfolio or examples)
  • Analytical mindset — able to simplify the complex and translate business needs into practical solutions
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365
