The Lean Transformation Manager will be the driving force in the journey to operational excellence within Electrical Products (EP) at our Electrical Distribution Equipment manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. This role is crucial in developing a vision and executing a strategic plan that elevates the factory's operations to a future state defined by high performance, lean efficiency, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the plant manager and leading an 11-person Lean team across a workforce of more than 1,200 employees, you will create a comprehensive roadmap for change and foster a culture of innovation and excellence throughout the organization, raising the bar rather than maintaining the status quo. This is an on-site role, working closely with teams on the production floor.

• Leading the deployment of lean tools and methodologies such as 6S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping across all departments, including mechanical and electrical assembly, fabrication, material delivery, and robotic operations, to drive measurable gains in throughput and quality.
• Building and leading a high-performing 11-person lean transformation team, providing direction, mentorship, and development so the team stays aligned with transformation objectives and builds succession capability.
• Optimizing material flow and layout through flow design, material feeding, cycle time analysis, time studies, line balancing, and capacity modeling, advancing the plant's transition from stationary builds toward continuous one-piece flow.
• Facilitating Lean workshops, visual management, and Lean Thinker training for hourly employees, keeping the Lean team focused on improving production systems rather than becoming permanently absorbed in daily production work.
• Working alongside data analytics and automation teams to evaluate new technologies, applying a fundamentals-first approach that simplifies and stabilizes processes before introducing automation, robotics, or digitalization.
• Integrating lean principles into the factory's safety programs, ensuring every process improvement also enhances workplace safety.
