Lead Workplace Associate
Description
The Lead Workplace Associate plays a key role in supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional workplace experiences across GFNY and Jeff Warehouse. This position serves as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operations of the Workplace Programs and Services, ticket management, and inventory control and coordination. The workplace lead manages on-site support of vendors and workplace operations team to ensure all workplace owned spaces remain organized, functional, and well-maintained for the GFNY team. The lead works towards the workplace mission statement ensuring that an environment is created where Tesla employees feel proud, supported and equipped to change the world.
Responsibilities
- Oversee workplace operations including furniture builds, repairs, 5S layout changes, site-wide cleaning, and vendor coordination
- Manage and schedule all workplace operations tickets, prioritize requests, communicate with requestors, and close tickets with detailed notes
- Serve as the lead point of contact for customer-based services including teamwear counter, mailroom operations, and Jeff Warehouse coordination
- Conduct regular audits of all workplace-owned spaces, conference rooms, and janitorial areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Provide escalation support to specialist teams and submit tickets to facilities as needed
- Support project management timelines, operations execution, and manpower allocation for workplace initiatives
- Manage all workplace storage spaces including janitorial, BCDS, workplace storage, and culinary storage areas while driving 5S standards
Requirements
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage tickets, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to conduct thorough audits
- Cross-trained and proficient in all Workplace Services processes including Teamwear and Mailroom operations
- Comfortable supporting team events and collaborating across multiple departments
- Previous experience in workplace services, facilities, operations, or hospitality strongly preferred
- Ability to manage manpower hours and meet team KPIs consistently

Expected Compensation
- Workplace Assistant IV - $29.23 - $43.85/hour
- Lead Workplace Assistant - $31.68 - $47.52/hour
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
