Lead, Sales & Operations Execution Process (Billerica, MA)
Job Title:
Lead, Sales & Operations Execution Process (Billerica, MA)Job Description:
THE ROLE
Entegris is seeking an experienced S&OE Process Lead to establish, lead, and continuously improve the company’s Sales and Operations Execution process. This newly created individual-contributor role will own the global near-term execution cadence connecting the S&OP plan to execution across Commercial, Global Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, and the business divisions.
The S&OE Process Lead will create a consistent, fact-based operating rhythm to identify and resolve near-term demand, supply, inventory, production, and customer-delivery risks. This leader will align stakeholders around shared priorities, enable timely decisions, and drive actions to closure before customer service or business performance is affected.
This is an excellent opportunity for an influential supply chain professional to build a critical enterprise process and contribute to Entegris’ growth. Success requires strong planning knowledge, analytical judgment, process leadership, and cross-functional influence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the global S&OE process, including governance, calendar, standard work, decision rights, inputs, outputs, escalation paths, meeting structure, and performance measures.
- Establish a disciplined weekly cadence that converts the approved S&OP plan into coordinated near-term actions across demand, supply, manufacturing, materials, inventory, customer fulfillment, logistics, and revenue execution.
- Create a single end-to-end view of execution health by integrating customer demand, order book, inventory, production plans, material availability, capacity constraints, logistics risks, and customer commitments.
- Lead cross-functional S&OE reviews as decision forums focused on material exceptions, tradeoffs, decisions, actions, and outcomes. Define escalation thresholds so teams resolve issues at the appropriate level and rapidly elevate enterprise, division, or senior-leadership decisions.
- Drive resolution of shortages, capacity constraints, production delays, order blocks, inventory imbalances, demand changes, customer-priority conflicts, logistics disruptions, and plan-to-actual gaps. When demand exceeds supply, facilitate fact-based prioritization using customer commitments, business priorities, revenue, inventory, constraints, and the approved plan.
- Develop scenarios and mitigation options that clarify choices, tradeoffs, customer and operational impacts, and recommendations. Monitor adherence to decisions, drive actions to closure, and address root causes of recurring execution gaps.
- Define and maintain S&OE measures, including demand supportability, demand-supply gaps, production-plan adherence, schedule stability, backlog health, inventory risk, constraint recovery, action closure, on-time shipment, and customer service. Use performance trends, feedback, root-cause analysis, and external best practices to improve the process and build adoption across Entegris.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, operations planning, manufacturing, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, S&OE, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end planning and execution, including demand, supply, inventory, master scheduling, materials, production, order management, and customer fulfillment.
- Demonstrated experience leading S&OE, S&OP, supply review, operations review, control-tower, or a comparable cross-functional planning process in a global, matrixed manufacturing environment. Semiconductor, specialty materials, chemicals, or other complex manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP and advanced planning systems; experience with SAP IBP, ECC, S/4HANA, or order-based planning is a plus.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to integrate multiple data sources, identify material exceptions and root causes, develop scenarios, and translate complex information into action.
- Proven ability to design governance and standard work, clarify decision rights, facilitate difficult tradeoffs, and create accountability without formal authority.
- Strong communication, business judgment, and organizational discipline, with the ability to present recommendations to operational teams and senior leaders, manage competing priorities, and drive commitments to closure.
- Collaborative and pragmatic leadership style, with the ability to challenge constructively, remain objective under pressure, and build trust across functions and regions.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, process standardization, data integrity, and system-enabled ways of working. APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or comparable certification is a plus.
