About the Role

As Lead Product Manager, you will own that platform end to end: how providers claim and manage their profile, confirm and maintain their prices, get discovered by members, and invest in promotion to reach more of them. The best-in-class provider experience is our wedge. Get providers in the door, and the flywheel starts: better provider data and prices create a better member experience, which grows membership, which makes visibility more valuable to providers.

You bring a builder's mindset and a marketplace instinct, and you are comfortable evangelizing the vision to providers, partners, and executives. You can hold a two-sided strategy in your head while getting into the details of onboarding flows, pricing data, and campaign tools.

What You'll Do

  • Own strategy and roadmap for the provider platform, taking it from MVP to a commercial-grade, self-serve product
  • Profile: Define the provider profile as the system of record for a provider's presence: claiming and verification, practices and providers, services and pricing, and ongoing data upkeep. Give providers a real reason, not just a mechanism, to correct and enrich vendor-sourced data
  • Ads: Design the provider promotion product from scratch, including campaign creation, placements, budgets, pricing models, reporting, and billing, and take it from display to monetization
  • Define advertiser and placement policy with Legal and Compliance, and keep paid placement transparent to members and consistent with price transparency and provider choice
  • Define marketplace health metrics across supply (participation rate, profile completeness, price freshness, cost per claimed listing, ad adoption) and demand (search credibility, price-return rate, member conversion)
  • Drive provider acquisition and activation, working with Provider Strategy and Marketing on both outreach and in-product growth levers
  • Partner with Member Product, Search, Data, and Engineering to connect provider profile, pricing, and ad data to what members see in the app
  • Make build vs. buy decisions for ad serving, billing, identity verification, and data vendors, with clear tradeoff reasoning
  • Navigate HIPAA, advertising, and price transparency requirements and turn them into buildable requirements
  • Write rigorous PRDs and sequence a heavily interdependent roadmap with Engineering, Design, and executive stakeholders
  • Lead a cross-functional pod and help grow the product team

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including leading products or other PMs
  • Strong preference: owned a two-sided marketplace or business-facing platform, with hands-on experience in seller or supplier onboarding, profile or listing products, and discovery
  • Preferred: built advertising or monetization products (self-serve campaign tools, sponsored listings, billing, measurement)
  • Nice to have: healthcare, health insurance, or another regulated domain; we are equally interested in strong marketplace PMs from other complex domains
  • Experience taking a product from MVP to commercial grade, including self-serve experiences, billing, and support
  • A flywheel mindset: you can articulate how each side of a marketplace pulls the other, and define the metrics that prove it is spinning
  • Demonstrated ability to define marketplace metrics and run experiments
  • Strong sense of design and UX for data-dense, business-facing workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL for independent data analysis
  • Experience partnering with engineering on build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions, including vendor evaluation
  • Ability to manage many interdependent workstreams and communicate sequencing tradeoffs to engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders
  • Startup or 0-to-1 builder experience is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience

What You'll Get

  • Competitive salary, bonus opportunity, and equity package
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • A 401k retirement plan
  • Paid vacation and company holidays
  • Opportunity to make an impact at a rapidly growing mission-driven company transforming healthcare in the U.S.

In taking a market-based approach to compensation, base pay may vary depending on location. Additionally, base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related skills and experience. The current expected salary range for this position is: $200,000 - $220,000.
