We are seeking a Software Engineer capable of working in an agile environment to translate business needs into software code that meets product quality standards.

Mission/ Position Headline:

Responsible for leading the test activities, test design, execution and validation of the product as per prescribed test strategy and ensuring that the software application complies with implicit and explicit requirements.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Analyse business needs, customer workflows, product and technical requirements and participate in review of requirements/test documentation with relevant stakeholders. 
• Design, develop and execute test cases for functional and non-functional aspects of the product, based on requirements and test strategy.
• Report defects, support defect investigation, validate defect fixes, analyse impact of fixes and track issues to closure.
• Lead test team with technical, domain, product and process expertise and enable adherence to schedule, quality and scope for test delivery.
• Support test planning, execution and tracking of test activities within relevant projects.
• Contribute to test specifications and provides test reports to project related stakeholders.
• Apply test methodologies and processes to improve test productivity and test coverage.
• Lead end-to-end Software testing life cycle phases.
• Coordinate test activities with project team and ensure test completion as per project schedule.
• Create test reports including defect logging, test result logging, defect analysis, RCA.

Desired Experience:

• Strong in leading the testing activities in STLC.
• Strong in requirements analysis, use cases for the product functionalities.
• Strong in Designing/Authoring and optimizing the effective test cases by applying various test design techniques.
• Execute test cases in development cycle and in formal test phase.
• Explore and apply different test approaches for identifying s/w defects early in the product life cycle.
• Should be able to clarify all requirements obtained from end customers.
• Build value to the product from obtaining customer experience and give appropriate feedback.
• Basic knowledge in automation, able to run automation test scripts/ updating scripts if needed.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/Electronics Engineering required, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in manual testing lifecycle and leading the STLC phases.
