Lead - Continuous Improvement
The Quality Manager at Nokia plays a pivotal role in aligning our quality strategy with business goals while acting as the customer advocate. This position involves managing an effective Quality Assurance system, leading a team to drive strategic improvements, and ensuring compliance with quality standards across the factory. You will handle customer complaints, oversee product performance governance, and implement corrective actions and process enhancements. With a focus on collaboration, you will engage with global stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, specifically a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (B.E. ECE).
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in quality management within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in systematic problem-solving using QA tools like PFMEA.
- Proficient leadership skills to guide a team of Engineers and Technicians.
- Experience in managing customer relationships from a quality perspective
- Experience with driving corrective and preventive action processes
Nice-To-Have:
- IPC standard certification
- TL 9K Auditor qualifications
- Ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- Effective communication skills to engage with global stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective quality assurance (QA) systems are implemented and maintained across the factory.
- Engage with customers and key stakeholders to address quality concerns and enhance satisfaction.
- Lead a team of Engineers and Technicians to drive strategic quality improvements.
- Serve as the factory representative for workmanship standards and best practices.
- Conduct audits to identify and drive systematic improvements on the shop floor.
- Oversee the review and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints related to factory performance.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure product field performance governance.
