Lead Carpenter & Concrete Finisher, Commercial Self Perform

Description

As a Lead Concrete Finisher, you will contribute to job sites across the Florida area. This travel-based position requires nearly all work to occur on the road, with job durations ranging from 1 to 3 weeks. You will be part of a cross-functional team of 4 to 6 members handling all trades required to complete the work. The team will remain consistent throughout the job and from job to job, allowing for team cohesion and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship in concrete formwork, site layout, and concrete finish
  
• Evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying hazards
• Interact with all levels of management and work effectively with other people
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks
• Think outside the box and find innovative solutions
• Train new employees and educate other members of the organization about construction implementation
• Support powerpack and solar panel installations between concrete projects

Requirements

• Ability to produce parts lists, work plans, and as-built drawings for work performed 
• Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required 
• Proficiency with operating excavators, bobcats, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts 
• OSHA-10 certification and CPR-First Aid training 
• Ability to use trade tools, meters, technology, and equipment to complete the job 
• Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and work at heights 
• Must have compliant government issued identification for domestic air travel and/or to access certain federal facilities, valid driver's license required, with flexibility to work on weekends and/or overtime
