Responsibilities :

  • Ensure a timely and accurate periodical accounting close for Qualys International entities for AP, FA and GL processes.
  • AP process includes review of vendor invoices / expense claims and corresponding payments.
  • FA process includes accounting of fixed assets including additions, depreciation, retirement and transfers and reporting in NetSuite (Oracle Application).
  • Assistance in GL accounting and reporting process for Qualys International entities.
  • Coordinate with third party professional service providers on international accounting and statutory compliance matters including review of VAT / GST calculations and draft returns, review of corporate tax returns, review of local GAAP financials etc.
  • Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and working for assigned processes along with compliance to US GAAP, SOX, IFRS as well as local statutory laws.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits for Qualys International entities.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and projects, focus on standardization and automation opportunities globally.
  • Working on ad-hoc reporting requests from the management.

Requirements :

  • Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Relevant accounting experience with IT MNC is preferred.
  • Experience of working in a multi-national software product company or SaaS preferred.
  • Good understanding of accounting particularly IFRS / US GAAP including practical application.
  • Experience with NetSuite (Oracle Application), Concur and Coupa.
  • Strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with a strong background in analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Shift working is required for this role with a few hours of overlap with US west coast time zone.
