About the Role

The LatAm Data Science team works at the intersection of Operations, Economics, Experimentation, and Business Strategy. Our mission is to help Uber make better decisions, improve the efficiency of our operations, and build the analytical foundations that support scalable growth across the region.

The team partners with local and regional stakeholders to solve complex business problems through rigorous analysis, experimentation, causal inference, modeling, and automation. Our work spans decision support, measurement frameworks, forecasting, and analytical tools that help teams operate more effectively at scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across functions, turning ambiguous business questions into structured problems, and driving impact through data.

As a Data Scientist, you will help shape the direction of the LatAm DS portfolio while working closely with Operations and other cross-functional partners on high-priority business challenges. You will lead analytical work end-to-end and help ensure it translates into durable business impact.
