Apple’s Sales organization fuels the innovation that powers products and services loved by millions around the world. In this role, you’ll be on the forefront, supporting Apple’s direct sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to build meaningful relationships with our K-12 customers.

We are looking for a creative and results-driven K-20 Education Sales Enablement Specialist to join the Strategy, Demand Generation, and Enablement team. This role supports Apple’s K-12 direct sales team and a hybrid Higher Education team spanning direct, channel, and campus store routes-to-market, ensuring sellers are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and training needed to build meaningful relationships with education customers. You’ll bring deep Apple product expertise and a strong understanding of how education decision-makers evaluate technology, and use that expertise to develop resources that help sellers navigate and overcome the technical barriers to adoption.

This role requires up to 25% domestic travel.

Description

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Apple’s K-12 direct sales team and Higher Education direct, channel, and campus store partners to develop learning strategies and enablement assets that promote Apple Education solutions and drive growth.
  • Develop deep expertise in Apple’s product and technology portfolio, including how each maps to education use cases and buyer priorities, and how it’s deployed in K-12 and Higher Education environments, including common technical barriers to adoption.
  • Build a working understanding of the key personas in education technology decision-making (e.g., IT/CTO, procurement, faculty, academic leadership) and the distinct objections and priorities each raises.
  • Create original enablement content — including objection-handling guides, competitive positioning, and technical FAQs — tailored to the distinct needs of direct, channel, and campus store sellers.
Implement instructional design processes to meet learning objectives aligned to sales skills, strategies and solutions.
  • Analyze feedback, survey and assessment data to identify effective strategies and gaps of enablement activities and recommend actionable insights.
  • Create innovative enablement resources, including videos, toolkits, and training programs, to empower sales teams with the skills to exceed their targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on Higher Education and K-12 trends and market needs, ensuring that Apple’s messaging is relevant and aligned with current educational priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including demand generation and product marketing, to align enablement activities with campaigns and ensure consistent, high-quality content design across enablement programs.
  • Facilitate training through workshops, activations, and field events that inspire sales teams and promote the value of Apple products in education.
  • Develop executive briefing and key customer meeting material that equip the sales team to position Apple as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and K-12 institutions.
  • Foster relationships with sales leadership to align enablement efforts with business priorities and emerging opportunities in the K-20 education sector.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience
    • Deep knowledge of Apple’s current product and services portfolio
    • Background working directly in or with the Higher Education and K-12 market with a deep understanding of the IT and technical environment
    • Experience supporting or selling through multiple routes-to-market (direct, channel/reseller, and campus store/retail) required
    • Demonstrated ability to translate product knowledge into persona-specific messaging and objection-handling content across sales channels
    • Expertise in instructional design and sales enablement strategies with a focus on designing and delivering engaging, creative resources such as videos, activations, and campaigns
    • Deep business acumen with ability to develop and implement training programs that elevate the skills of sales teams
    • Proficiency in data analytics to evaluate the impact of enablement strategies and programming on sales team performance
    • Solid understanding of trends in education technology and the evolving needs of Higher Education and K-12 institutions, especially IT and Technology teams
    • Experience working cross-functionally with dynamic teams to align enablement efforts with business objectives
    • Ability to manage multiple work streams, timelines, and deliverables with exceptional attention to detail
    • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 8+ years of related experience is preferred
    • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to create impactful content that resonates with both sales teams and customers

    Pay & Benefits (San Jose, New York City)

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $211,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,600 and $190,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
