Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG)
Lenovo ISG is a smart infrastructure solutions provider empowering customers' Intelligent Transformation. We're looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to grow with us.
Role Overview
Junior Software Engineer with solid JavaScript/Node.js skills, ready to grow into backend systems development — including Golang over time. You'll help build scalable services and contribute to modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Node.js, contributing to REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with UI, QA, and cross-functional teams on feature delivery
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Gradually contribute to Golang-based services
- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot) to boost productivity and code quality
Requirements
- Must have: 1+ years of software development experience, with strong JavaScript/Node.js knowledge
- Must have: Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and basic system design
- Must have: Familiarity with Git-based workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and a learning mindset
- Interest in expanding into Golang and cloud/containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Some database experience (SQL/NoSQL) and prior use of AI-assisted coding tools
