About the Role

As the leader of Vendor Management, you will shape and execute FIS’s global strategy for third-party IT services and contingent labor suppliers. In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee supplier governance, performance management, risk oversight, and transformation initiatives across a complex vendor ecosystem. You will partner with senior leaders across Technology, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to drive value, innovation, and service excellence while supporting FIS’s digital transformation goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise vendor management strategy for global IT services and contingent labor suppliers.
  • Build and scale governance frameworks that improve supplier performance, manage risk, and deliver business value.
  • Manage executive-level supplier relationships, including steering committees, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Drive performance through service-level agreements, key performance indicators, experience metrics, and data-driven reporting.
  • Lead vendor onboarding, offboarding, and transition programs to ensure service continuity and operational stability.
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance to optimize contracts, commercial governance, and supplier investments.
  • Establish governance approaches for the use of artificial intelligence within outsourced services and contingent labor programs.
  • Oversee contingent workforce operations, supplier management programs, and workforce management tools.
  • Promote supplier-led innovation, automation, and transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and vendor risk management standards.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, outsourcing, or supplier management, with a strong focus on IT services and contingent labor programs.
  • Proven experience leading global vendor management or strategic partner management functions.
  • Deep knowledge of contingent labor programs, managed service provider models, and vendor management systems.
  • Experience managing large-scale technology service providers and infrastructure outsourcing relationships.
  • Demonstrated success leading vendor transitions, transformation initiatives, and governance programs.
  • Strong expertise in performance management, service-level agreements, contract management, and financial oversight.
  • Knowledge of vendor risk management, compliance requirements, and supplier performance practices.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international travel as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Professional certification in supplier management, sourcing, procurement, or a related discipline.
