INVENTORY SPECIALIST (RAPTOR) - 1ST SHIFT

  • Receive purchased orders and transact into ERP system
  • Apply routing labels and other required identifiers for the receipt of material/packages
  • Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork; check for damage, correct part numbers, and quantity as required
  • Interface with carriers, internal customers, purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt and distribution of material
  • Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment per safety procedures
  • Participate in adding to the area’s to-do lists for improvement projects
  • Receive, store and issue parts as required to support Raptor operations
  • Perform picking function to replenish production lineside locations
  • Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures
  • Monitor shelf-life storage, and maintain proper rotation of stock
  • Maintain accurate temperature requirements for all required temperature sensitive materials
  • Perform material unpack and repack operations to set packaging codes/requirements
  • Maintain good housekeeping and organization of areas for efficiency
  • Support the organization's metric goals and objectives
  • Monitor email inboxes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate 
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • 1+ years of experience working in materials management
  • 1+ years of experience operating a forklift and other related powered industrial equipment per safety procedures

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience operating a forklift and other related powered industrial equipment per safety procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
  • Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
  • Able to work 1st shift hours (5:00am - 3:30pm), including overtime and weekends as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:    
    
Pay range:    
Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50/hour    
Level 2: $24.50 - $27.00/hour    
Level 3: $26.00 - $31.50/hour    

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
