This position is expected to start around January 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (ending approximately May 2027 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.   

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager Intern to join our Territory Operations team supporting Canada and the Upper Midwest region. In this role, you will assist in the planning and execution of key operational programs across your assigned territory, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and deliver results. You will leverage strong analytical skills to monitor performance, track project progress, and identify opportunities for improvement — helping ensure operational excellence across one of Tesla's most dynamic and growing regions. 

Responsibilities

  • Support program management initiatives across the Canada and Upper Midwest territory, helping drive operational consistency and performance 
  • Monitor and analyze key operational metrics and KPIs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement 
  • Build and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and trackers to support data-driven decision making 
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and scale operational processes 
  • Support process documentation and contribute to the standardization of workflows across the territory 

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, reporting) and PowerPoint 
  • Familiarity with AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and scale processes 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Bilingual in French and English is a plus

Expected Compensation

$20.55 - $35.17 + benefits for all levels

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
