YOUR ROLE
Internship: Continuous Development and Integration flow (CI/CD) Optimization
When producing software for multiple hardware targets, especially in secure embedded domain, building, testing and validating code frequently in an efficient manner becomes rapidly a key element of a shared workflow to minimize potential regression and long stabilization phases.
Internship Objectives
The key objectives include:
- CI/CD analysis
Analyze current processes: Jenkins pipelines, job order, infrastructure and related constrains. Identify weaknesses, inconsistencies, recurring failures, configuration issues, deviation from best practices. - CI/CD monitoring and improvement
Build a monitoring system to collect and gather info about jobs executions, downtime, failure rates, execution duration, etc.
Propose fixes and improvements like factorization, uniformization… up to potential port to WSL or Linux platforms.
Design a reporting interface or query system to search and analyze failures by different criteria, such as Jenkins agent, job family, pipeline stage, failure type, etc. The goal being to provide actionable insights that helps reduce CI/CD downtime, prioritize fixes, and continuously improve pipeline quality
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Computer science / engineering student in a Belgian high-school / university
- Interest in CI/CD topics and related technics, scripting, shell, containerization, etc…
- Team player
- Language: French or Dutch, English
