International Tax manager, EMEA Consumer Tax
Amazon EU seeks an international tax Manager to support its European business operations across EMEA. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a tax adviser and project supervisor.
The role has option to be based in eitherr Luxembourg or London.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate tax audits and litigations, in multiple jurisdiction (including preparing deliverables, meetings with tax authorities, etc).
- Assist with managing relationships with outside tax consultants and regulatory authorities on an ongoing basis
- Partner with multiple stakeholders across the company to lead tax input on the launch of new business initiatives and provide ongoing tax support for queries
- Own corporate tax input on projects to deliver detailed tax analysis and recommendations
- Communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax professionals
- Engage regularly with business partners to ensure understanding and continued compliance with the group´s European business structure
- Assess how existing and upcoming tax laws and regulations will impact the Amazon businesses
Basic Qualifications
- Experience tax advisory (excluding compliance)
- Experience in taxation in a corporate environment, public accounting firm or major law firm
- Experience in tax with an EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) focus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- Experience of working with European tax laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience a corporate tax advisory role in a multinational and/or professional organization
- Degree in law, Economy with a taxation specialization
