International Non Financial Reporting Manager

Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. As a member of this team, you know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end-to-end. You will advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. In this role, every day is a new challenge, and you will be continually looking for ways to help the team get better at what we do, in the most efficient way possible. You will collaborate with our global team, advocate best practices to pitch in when it's on deck. Responsibilities

• Lead the interpretation, implementation, and reporting alignment for mandatory global ESG frameworks (CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB/IFRS S1 and S2, and local equivalents).
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Data Centers, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and People Operations to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls over non-financial data.
• Direct relationships with third-party ESG consultants and auditors.
• Establish audit trails, documentation standards, and data governance frameworks to streamline statutory external verification.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience managing corporate ESG reporting, sustainability compliance, or non-financial audit.
• Experience implementing or reporting under ESG/sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, or GHG Protocol).
• Experience leading cross-functional programs and managing international or regional cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience within the tech sector, hyperscale data center operations, or multinational supply chain environments.
• Practical experience leading a successful first-time CSRD readiness assessment and external reasonable/limited assurance cycle.
• Excellent attention-to-detail, organised, and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.
• Excellent project management, oral communication, analytical, and written skills.
