We are seeking a driven and dynamic Integration Engineer to join our team at Ericsson. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute meaningfully to data-driven integration services. The chosen candidate will need to analyze, develop, and execute test cases, thereby ensuring adequate configuration and seamless integration of our network systems. In addition to this, the role demands a meticulous adherence to our group directives, legal, and financial requirements. In this position, you will be working within Ericsson's global and local Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS) standards, while ensuring the utmost data security and privacy. This role offers a stimulating and challenging setting that promotes continuous learning and growth.

What you will do:

  • Design and implement NFVi platforms based on OpenStack, Kubernetes, container runtimes, and related cloud-native technologies.
  • Deploy and integrate virtual network functions (VNFs) and cloud-native network functions (CNFs) on distributed, multi-tenant infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, testing, and lifecycle operations using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or equivalent tools.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, platform components, and network-function deployment workflows.
  • Perform capacity planning, platform hardening, upgrades, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and system health checks.
  • Monitor platform availability, performance, and resource utilization using metrics, logs, traces, and alerting systems.
  • Lead incident investigation and root-cause analysis for deployment, performance, interoperability, and service-impacting issues.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, operational procedures, test plans, and handover materials.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to validate fixes, resolve defects, and improve platform reliability.
  • Support solution trials, acceptance testing, deployment activities, and occasional out-of-hours maintenance windows when required.
    The skills you bring:
  • OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, KVM, or an equivalent virtualization/cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with containers, container networking, registries, Helm, and Kubernetes operations.
  • Automation.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.
