Then come and join our global team as Instructor Hardware Technical Training (f/m/d) to train service professionals on advanced Varian hardware systems and help ensure excellent technical support for our customers worldwide.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You conduct classroom and laboratory training sessions for groups of different sizes, from small expert groups to larger participant audiences
  • You perform intermediate equipment maintenance, including PMP/PMI activities, and demonstrate relevant service procedures during training
  • You troubleshot basic to advanced technical issues with limited support and guide learners through structured problem-solving approaches
  • You interpret schematic diagrams, technical documentation, software materials, and service information to create practical learning experience
  • You stay up to date on Varian product capabilities, system updates, and service requirements to ensure that all training reflects the latest standards

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a comparable field with relevant working experience
  • You bring experience in field service or equivalent experience in engineering, technical training, manufacturing, or a comparable technical environment.
  • You are a certified Radiation Protection Officer and possess strong expertise in electronics

  • You have experience delivering technical instruction, ideally in a medical equipment or highly technical environment, and can explain complex topics to diverse audiences
  • You are confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email tools


Your attributes and skills:

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English and German and you have strong communication and presentation skills and enjoy enabling others to build technical confidence
  • You work independently, apply sound judgment, and make well-considered decisions when solving diverse and complex technical problems
  • You are result-oriented, structured, and able to manage classroom delivery, training logistics, and critical deadlines effectively
  • You meet the required qualifications to perform electrical operations and to serve as a radiation safety officer in accordance with German regulatory standards
  • You are willing to work alternate or second shifts, take on weekend assignments when needed, and travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
