Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Propose innovative product design concepts for notebook PCs, tablets, and future device experiences
- Understand user and business needs and translate them into design concepts and design directions
- Explore and develop ideas through sketching, visualization, prototyping, and design studies
- Create compelling design stories and presentation materials to communicate design concepts effectively
- Develop mock-ups, 3D models, and CG renderings to visualize and evaluate design concepts
- Collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, product planners, marketing teams, and other stakeholders
- Participate in the design process from early-stage concept development through product commercialization
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a comparable portfolio demonstrating equivalent experience
- Experience translating user and business needs into design concepts and proposals
- Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hardware product development
- Experience leading design projects or design activities
- Experience collaborating with global and/or cross-functional teams
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience developing PCs, tablets, consumer electronics, or other hardware products
