Incentive Specialist, Charging
Description
Tesla is seeking a highly organized Incentive Specialist to support our North America Charging team. This administrative role plays a key part in ensuring incentive program applications are submitted accurately, and that awarded grants remain compliant through construction, commissioning, and closeout. You will support Supercharger, Megacharger, and Charging for Business: create, review and track documentation, build workflows and assets, and coordinate partner teams to drive incentive compliance. We are looking for someone ready for a steep learning curve, with room to grow on a small, high-performing team focused on reducing the cost of charging to our customers through diverse and innovative methods.
Responsibilities
- Scout, assess, and document available Charging incentives
- Prepare and submit incentive applications and supporting documentation for Supercharger, Megacharger, and Charging for Business
- Conduct documentation and construction-compliance reviews so Supercharger, Megacharger, and Charging for Business incentive products and projects stay aligned with grant program requirements
- Coordinate implementation of awarded grants with Construction, Charging for Business, Product, Finance, and other internal teams through closeout
- Track and report progress on applications, requests, and documentation status to key stakeholders
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in cost data, contracts, and backup in partnership with Legal, Finance, Construction, and Procurement
- Build efficient processes using automation and AI tooling, including implementation resources for the Charging for Business team
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Energy, Public Policy, Social Sciences, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to review and validate complex documentation
- Technical analysis skills, including comfort working with data, financials, and program requirements
- Ability to multitask, execute across different topics and levels, learn quickly, and manage multiple ongoing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or interest in building efficient processes with automation and AI tooling
- Passion for Tesla's mission and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Expected Compensation
- Technical Program Mgr - $100,800 - $151,200/annual salary
- Sr Technical Program Mgr - $130,320 - $195,480/annual salary
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
