What you’ll achieve

Import compliance has never been more critical or more complex. Customs enforcement is intensifying globally, with authorities increasing audits, tightening classification and valuation scrutiny, and modernizing their regulatory frameworks at an unprecedented pace

At Dell Technologies, our import compliance team is at the heart of keeping our global services supply chain moving — accurately, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the EMEA Trade Compliance Director, you will be part of a team that manages both import and export compliance activities across EMEA. You will work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing regulatory environment collaborating with internal teams such as Legal, Logistics, and Tax, as well as external partners, customs brokers, and government agencies to support and enable growth while maintaining an exceptional level of compliance.

You will:

  • Support end-to-end customs operations for Dell's Services organisation across EMEA, ensuring all import activities are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with local and regional customs regulations.
  • Manage and resolve documentation issues within Dell's Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) system
  • Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and transport documents, ensuring a clear, auditable trail between declarations and accounting records.
  • Respond to information requests from customs authorities, internal stakeholders, and customs brokers, providing accurate and timely compliance guidance.
  • Analyse and recommend optimal customs processing methods for Dell products, balancing cost efficiency with full regulatory compliance.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of Dell's Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status, a trusted trader designation that provides benefits including reduced inspections and expedited clearance.
  • Monitor and maintain operating reporting metrics, providing data-driven insights to support compliance decision-making.
  • Contribute to HTS classification reviews and country of origin determinations, helping ensure classification accuracy is maintained as products and regulations evolve.
  • Participate in cross-functional trade and supply chain projects designed to strengthen and enhance both regional and global compliance programmes.
