Your mission in our team Joining our Rolling Stock team in Madrid, you will develop advanced air conditioning systems for next-generation rail vehicles. Your work will directly ensure maximum comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability for passengers traveling on transit networks worldwide.

You’ll make a difference by

• Developing and refining innovative HVAC concepts using advanced calculation and simulation tools.
• Preparing precise technical specifications and milestone plans for both customer projects and R&D initiatives.
• Guiding suppliers through the design, manufacturing, and testing of critical HVAC components.
• Driving design-to-cost initiatives to ensure system efficiency and market competitiveness.
• Organizing and supervising air-conditioning measurements and system optimizations directly on the vehicles.
• Coordinating seamlessly with internal design and development teams to integrate HVAC systems into the train's architecture.

Your success is grounded in

• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Construction, or a comparable technical field.
• Professional experience or solid theoretical knowledge in air conditioning and thermodynamics.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take full ownership of projects after a comprehensive onboarding.
• Strong presentation skills to share results clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and the willingness to travel occasionally to support global projects and suppliers.

You’ll thrive even more if you also bring

Specific experience in rail vehicle technology, refrigeration circuits, and associated industry standards.

Hands-on experience creating requirement specifications and basic construction knowledge.

Spanish language skills.
