HR Undergraduate Intern - People Org
About the team
Zillow’s Human Resources teams help attract, hire, develop, engage, and support the people who move our business forward. This internship posting supports two opportunities: one within our Talent organization and one within our Employee Service and Operations organization. Our Talent organization includes Recruiting, Executive Talent, Talent Management & Learning, and Talent Experience & Enablement. These teams help connect people with career opportunities, support employee and leadership development, and improve candidate and employee experiences.
Our Employee Service and Operations organization supports employees through employee service, HR processes, knowledge resources, and operational enablement. These teams help make HR information and services easier to navigate and improve how people-related processes work.
Across both organizations, we bring together people-centered thinking, research, data, and operational excellence to solve problems and create better experiences.
About the role
At Zillow, interns do meaningful work that contributes to the business from day one. Our nine-week summer internship program, running June through August, gives students the opportunity to bring their ideas and perspectives to real projects alongside Zillow teams.
Interns build hands-on experience, connect with mentors and leaders, and take part in learning and community experiences with their intern cohort. Our 2027 internships are based in Seattle and follow a hybrid schedule, with interns generally working together in person Tuesday through Thursday. Eligible interns will receive a stipend to help offset summer housing and relocation costs.
As a Human Resources Undergraduate Intern, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects that improve how Zillow attracts, develops, engages, or supports its people. You’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals, build practical skills, and explore how people-focused work connects to business outcomes.

- Support the planning and delivery of HR programs, services, or initiatives, including coordination, documentation, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to improve candidate, employee, or manager experiences, depending on your host team.
- Document workflows, improve knowledge resources, and recommend ways to make processes more effective, consistent, accessible, and scalable.
- Share your project outcomes and recommendations with stakeholders while building your communication and presentation skills.
- Handle candidate, employee, and business information with care, following team guidance on confidentiality and appropriate data use.
