HR Program Manager, M&A

Position Overview:
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the People & Organization (P&O) function leading Merger and Acquisition projects for Siemens Digital Industries Software in a fast- paced global environment?
At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you have an opportunity to help drive the successful on-boarding and integration of newly acquired employees into a globally distributed organization. You will work closely with many talented Siemens colleagues from around the world – Global and Country P&O functions, Corporate M&A, Finance, IT, Compliance, Legal, Facilities, Procurement – and work closely with the acquired company leaders and integration team members. This role entails the full breadth of the M&A lifecycle from due diligence through all stages of integration planning and execution. The role will be based is in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the P&O Director, M&A for Digital Industries Software, globally lead cross functional project planning and execution for assigned M&A projects with a focus on US based acquisitions and integrations.
- Develop end-to-end integration project plans, workstream charters, weekly updates, project templates and documentation, audit requirements and Town Hall presentations/employee communications.
- Collaborate with Siemens Corporate M&A team to execute on due diligence, signing and closing activities. Identifies key findings, risks, liabilities and challenges based on the deal type and integration planning concept.
- Partner closely with global P&O Business Partners and Country P&O Managers on retention plans for key employees, job mapping, compensation benchmarking & alignment, benefits alignment/harmonization, organization structure, employment contracts and policies.
- Leads P&O project meetings and coaches and guides P&O project team members throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Establish a high level of collaboration and alignment with HRIS/Operations/Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Immigration, L&D, etc. on P&O integration concept and planning activities.
- Ensure close collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders across inter-dependent workstreams – IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Facilities, Procurement, etc.
- Deliver against defined project milestones ensuring integration of all P&O processes, policies and technology including but not limited to payroll, HR data management, total rewards, talent acquisition, talent management, employment policies and compliance, employee surveys
- Provide oversight and direction on the communications and change management strategy and employee engagement plan development.
- Participate in global P&O projects on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree’s is required
- Preferably, a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including conducting and/or coordinating due diligence activities, supporting transaction execution, and assisting with post-acquisition integration efforts.
- 10+ years of experience in a variety of Human Resources/People & Organization roles for a large multi-national company.
- 7+ years of experience in a HR/P&O business partner role preferably with multi-country experience supporting global employee populations and also integrating newly acquired employees into business functions (job mapping, compensation alignment, talent assessment, organization structures, etc).
- 5+ years of experience supporting US-based new hire onboarding activities with strong knowledge of US employment laws and company employment policies.
- Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including benefits, compensation, payroll, talent management, talent acquisition, employment law and compliance.
- Process oriented and data-driven, with the motivation and skills to improve workflows across many interdependent functions.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability to achieve successful project results.
- Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to be agile and pivot quickly as project and company needs change.
- Strong ability to network across the organization and collaborate across all levels of the organization, with an ability to align with and influence key decision makers.
- Ability to work autonomously and make thoughtful decisions quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and HR systems and tools.
- Scheduling flexibility is needed to work across multiple time zones to accommodate meeting schedules.
- Ability to travel domestically in the US and occasionally for meetings in other countries

The pay range for this position is $124,000 - $223,100 annually with a target incentive of 5-10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
