The TLS (Tech and Lifestyle Services Sector) group guides direction and rollout for the US division's optimization offerings, including Google Search, Performance Max, and Search Ads 360. Our mission is to help advertisers leverage these platforms to achieve their marketing and commercial goals. Working alongside account executives and partners, we foster product uptake to accelerate business momentum.

We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. US: $179000 - $249000 (USD) + 75% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of Performance Specialists across multiple verticals to grow performance business (Search and PMax).
  • Define sales strategy and activation plan for sector's performance business to deliver on business and product adoption goals.
  • Work with sales leadership and sales teams to activate performance strategy, including surfacing new opportunities, preparing for client pitches, influencing clients, delivering thought leadership, and driving behavioral change.
  • Partner and work cross-functionally with other Google teams, including sales teams, gTech, GTM, GPS, and more to execute the sales strategy, provide client feedback and requests, and influence product development and prioritization.
  • Consistently be in office to collaborate with sales teams and internal stakeholders. Travel to meet with clients in person

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience with people management, and leading and developing a sales team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience providing product and domain expertise and oversee end-to-end responsibilities for product area related client projects for multiple mission-critical customers to increase product adoption.
  • Deep experience supporting advertisers performance media objectives.
  • Deep experience managing large, geographically-dispersed teams in horizontal/matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to develop and drive business plans for pods or product areas, supporting business planning and identify areas to support the Director overall strategy.
  • Ability to serve as a domain expert and product thought leader for a critical industry, vertical, sales program or business unit.
  • Strong track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
