As Google's Education & Careers vertical, our mission is to inspire learning, advance careers, and transform lives, together. Our San Francisco team works with major traditional and online universities, as well as Educational tech platforms to help prospective students build new skills and better compete in the job market.

In this role, you'll build strong c-level client relationships and lead your team to drive growth across Search, Video, and Display through competitive selling. You will also work closely with the vertical leadership to position our broader team to grow and succeed in market.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $201000 - $280000 (USD) + 75% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of account executives, set and communicate team priorities, make decisions, and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.  
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.  
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives. 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in digital media sales, digital advertising, or digital marketing.
  • Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Marketing or advertising experience within the education industry.
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience influencing senior level clients and stakeholders in a sales management capacity.
  • Knowledge of full-funnel marketing strategies and media, including lead generation, brand building, and programmatic media.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to create and further develop existing relationships and business.
