These functions provide frameworks, process expertise, and Operational guidance to CUs and SLs via dedicated Business Partners (CU & SL CSS Operations Leads). These Leads gather feedback/best practices to industrialize and foster continuous improvement and innovation through the central functions.

About this opportunity:

The CU CSS Operations Leads in Market Area Europe, Middle East and Africa are responsible for their respective CU’s effective governance and support to ensure sub-unit´s targets are achieved or exceeded.

The CU CSS Operations Leads, use inputs from the 3 central functions in CSS Operations (Performance Management & Analytics, Strategy Execution & Transformation and Central Operations & PMO) to, working with the CU & SLs stakeholders, ensure smooth selling of compliant, first-time right solutions and efficient on time and on cost deliveries that improve customer satisfaction. The role, ensures best practice generation and sharing with wider EMEA CSS Operations team to drive operational excellence across EMEA CSS.

This roles will be reporting to the Head of CSS Operations, Market Area Europe Middle East and Africa and is part of the EMEA CSS Operations leadership team; will also be dotted to its corresponding CU CSS Head and be part of their respective Leadership Teams.

The roles will be based in the geography served. 

What you will do

  • Secures execution against CU CSS financial and operational targets by monitoring financial and operational performance vs targets and translating them into actions to be driven across CU CSS and SLs.
  • Responsible for the correct Governance assurance for your CU, as well as KPI management.
  • Supports the CU Financial Planning & forecasting being the channel towards the Performance Management and Analytics team.
  • CU CSS level quarterly P&L predictions, and balance sheet optimization.
  • Supports the Funnel management for the CU, advising on risks to meet financial obligations.
  • Consulted towards the correct dimensioning and capability Management of your CU, providing inputs to SL CSS Leads and CSS Operations support.
  • Jointly with the CSS SL Operations Leads and SL HoSD, prioritize and follow up on Project issues towards Central Operations & PMO and the SLs.
  • Chairs a consistent Change Control Board (CCB) in the CU, engaging the SL CSS Operations Leads as needed, and achieving consistency by collaborating with CU CSS Operations Lead peers, CU stakeholders, and Central Operations & PMO.
  • Assessment and control of risks in your CU at CU project portfolio level
  • Process, methods and tools adherence driving SPOC in respective CU CSS.
  • Quality Assurance framework user, responsible to trigger the needed procedures when needed in your geography (Red Team reviews, Project Performance reviews, etc).
  • Drive asset re-use (N365) and automation adoption to secure efficiencies e2e (focus on pre-sales and their continuity into delivery).
  • Provides pre-sales Operations support to the CU and SLs, ensuring proper governance.
  • Support implementation of EMEA CSS transformation & improvement initiatives in the respective CU CSS.Drive compliance, Business continuity, and support internal/external audits (Quality, Environmental, Safety, Security and OHS) in CU CSS.
  • Create Clarity. Develop People. Drive Results, across your stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • University degree preferably in Engineering, Business administration, Big Data/computing/IT.
  • PMI certification.
  • Domain and Portfolio understanding, including the implications of technology transformation for both delivery and operations.
  • Strong Ericsson Knowledge.
  • Business, Commercial and Financial understanding.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Analytical Mind and problem-solving attitude.
  • Anticipates customer's expectations and needs, incorporating them into solutions and project execution. 
  • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps to mobilize the organisation to fulfill its Business Objectives.
  • Collaborative Team player, Proactive, Influencer, Humble, Flexible, Pragmatic and enthusiastic, with a proven track record of trust creation across peers.
  • Fluent in English (other EMEA languages a plus)
