You will provide specialist engineering guidance, oversee maintenance and operational activities, lead technical investigations, support infrastructure improvements, and help drive engineering excellence across the data centre.

This is a highly technical role suited to an experienced engineer with great stakeholder  management and strategic thinking skills. • Oversee maintenance activities, contractor delivery, isolations and risk management processes.
  • Own and govern BMS, monitoring platforms, alarm management and critical spares strategies.
  • Support compliance, audits and technical assurance activities across the facility.

Capacity Planning, Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor infrastructure utilisation and capacity, assessing future growth requirements and operational risks.
  • Provide technical leadership for infrastructure upgrades, expansions and capital investment initiatives.
  • Lead energy efficiency, sustainability and operational optimisation programmes.
  • Support business planning, budgeting, KPI development and long-term asset management strategies.

About You

You will ideally possess:

  • A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

  • A proven ability to solve complex technical problems and lead investigations into critical infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams, contractors and senior leaders.
  • Experience working within structured technical governance, engineering standards and operational frameworks.
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence.
