Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative visual assets for product documentation, service guides, installation manuals, brochures, flyers, product labels, posters, and other marketing or technical communication materials.
- Create and maintain graphics, illustrations, icons, diagrams, and layouts that effectively communicate complex technical information for server and infrastructure products.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Technical Publications, Human Factors, Manufacturing, and Worldwide Design teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across all visual deliverables.
- Design and develop product labels, regulatory markings, packaging artwork, and agency compliance labels in accordance with safety, EMC, environmental, manufacturing, and legal requirements.
- Integrate industrial design concepts and product aesthetics into technical illustrations, product collateral, and branding materials.
- Conduct product photography, image retouching, and post-production editing to support publications, training materials, and marketing content.
- Ensure all visual communications align with Lenovo brand guidelines, design standards, and product identity requirements.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency, and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain and organize digital design assets, templates, and documentation for future reference and reuse.
- Continuously explore and introduce new design techniques, tools, and industry best practices to enhance visual communication effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within the technology, hardware, server, electronics, or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design or multimedia tools.
- Experience creating technical illustrations, product documentation graphics, and publication layouts.
- Knowledge of photography, image editing, and visual asset management.
- Familiarity with branding, typography, print production, regulatory labeling, and design standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical requirements into visually engaging content.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience supporting server, storage, networking, or enterprise hardware products.
- Comfortable working with engineering teams and interpreting technical content.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating technical illustration, publication design, branding, and product-related visual assets.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is preferred.
