Graduate Solution Architect Limerick Customer Solution Center - Innovation Lab

What you’ll achieve

You will:

• Work with customers to understand their challenges, business objectives, technical requirements, a desired outcomes.
• Contribute to solution designs that are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned to customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, lab sessions, and solution briefings for customers and partners.
• Build, configure, test, and document prototypes and proof-of-concepts using Dell technologies and relevant partner or cloud platforms.
• Translate customer use cases into practical lab experiences, architecture diagrams, demonstrations, and validation plans.
• Investigate technical issues during demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, identify root causes, and recommend next steps.

The Limerick CSC Innovation Lab is looking for a Graduate Solution Architect to help customers, partners, and Dell account teams turn technology ideas into practical, demonstrable outcomes.

This is a balanced customer-facing and hands-on role. You will support discovery conversations and technical workshops, help shape solution architectures, and build or configure demonstrations, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts in the Innovation Lab. You will work across areas such as artificial intelligence, modern data center infrastructure, multicloud, automation, data platforms, and modern workplace technologies.

The role is designed for a recent graduate who enjoys learning quickly, solving problems collaboratively, and explaining technology clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Requirements 

• A recent bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronic engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
• An interest in solution architecture, enterprise technology, infrastructure, cloud, data, artificial intelligence, or emerging technologies.
• Foundational understanding of some of the following: compute, storage, networking, virtualization, operating systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data platforms, or AI concepts.
• Ability to analyze a technical problem, break it into manageable parts, and propose a logical solution.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Practical experience from academic projects, internships, labs, hackathons, or personal technology projects is valuable.

Desirable Requirements 

• Scripting or programming with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a similar language.
• Familiarity with APIs, Git, containers, automation, data analytics, or machine learning workflows.
• Exposure to public cloud, private cloud, virtualization, infrastructure as code, or modern application architectures.
• Experience creating technical presentations, architecture diagrams, lab guides, or project documentation.
• An interest in pursuing relevant Dell, cloud, networking, security, or architecture certifications.
