Global Physical Security Red Team Lead, GSRS - Sunnyvale, Boulder or New York
Reporting to the Director Global Security Risk Operations, the you will be the subject matter expert who will lead a team responsible for driving complex, issues and multidisciplinary efforts to ascertain, analyze, report and improve the security state of the enterprise. You will work closely with cross-functional global partners to execute on Red Teaming initiatives and facility risk assessments. You will be responsible for the continuous development of strengthening the security ecosystem through data driven decisions and the maturation of the program through evidence based success metrics that illustrate the continued evolution.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $157000 - $227000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead GSRS physical security penetration testing on a global scale.
- Partner with the Alphabet’s Enterprise Red Team cross-functional working group in collaboration with digital security partners.
- Manage a team responsible for the strategy, tracking, and data analysis of audits and assessment.
- Manage vendor governance through established relationships and accountability of contractual performance against services and deliverables.
- Collaborate with security business partners and support functions within Google (HR, Legal etc.) to plan, develop, and implement processes and guidelines that supports the organization’s security goal and strategy.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Risk Management, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience designing and implementing security resilience programs with multiple risk stakeholders in a regional or global capacity.
- 5 years of experience in program management, including developing risk management solutions and working with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across an organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in security consulting, law enforcement, security services or military with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in risk management tools, concepts and methodologies.
- Experience in successfully developing and implementing red teaming or security auditing and assessment programs, in a corporate security environment.
- Experience in developing and managing risk based physical security operations.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and excellent judgement, discretion and diplomacy.
- Ability to take initiative, high levels of self motivation and be able to work well separately and as part of a team.
