Full-Stack Angular developer with Go Lang / Rust

We continue developing our cloud technology and offer our own Edge Device as central access point based on embedded Linux. The firmware is developed with C++ (legacy), Rust, Golang and TypeScript for frontend/UI.

We are looking for technically strong software engineer to contribute to the team's work starting with the UI (TypeScript) and later Golang/Rust components.

Your job – challenging and future oriented

• Develop components for the next generation cloud centric IoT based building automation system to improve building energy efficiency with strong focus to ease of use.

• Design and develop embedded software and architecture for Linux-based edge devices, using containerization technologies for scalable deployment in building automation environments.

• Full-stack Edge Device Developer contributing to different software components.

• Use DevOps practices to ensure high-quality deliveries including CI/CD with automated test.

• Drive technical quality through clear documentation, issue analysis, bug fixing, and effective source code management.

• Develop features for our existing platform using programming languages such as TypeScript (Angular) for UI and Golang / Rust for backend components.

• Packaging and debugging for an ARM embedded device using Yocto.

• Interact daily with team members in a multi-cultural international setup ensuring smooth progress, raising issues and solving them together.

• Nice to have experience in AWS cloud services and technologies.

• Optionally good know-how of C++.

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

• An academic degree in Information Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication or a related field.

• Solid experience in professional software development environment ideally for UI with TypeScript and Angular, HTML5 and backend services.

• Experience in software development for backend components with Golang, Rust or C++.

• Knowledge on cloud native software development tools like containerization (Docker or Podman), inner source (Gitlab or GitHub), AWS including cloud security.

• You have a passion for software craftsmanship with an agile mindset.

• Good social skills when it comes to work in global teams or present ideas and concepts to other stakeholders.

• Experience with Embedded Devices.

• Your English skills allow you to work effectively in an international team.

• Understanding of test automation and importance of the CI/CD.
