About Nothing

Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.

We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.

Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.

About the Team

Nothing's Talent Acquisition team is 8 people spread across London, Asia, and now the US for the first time. As we build out our San Francisco presence, this role is half talent, half people: recruiting the people who'll define the next decade of personal technology, and keeping the US team running day to day. You'll be the person who both finds great hires and looks after them once they've joined.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit across roles in the SF market, owning your pipeline from sourcing through offer close.
  • Act as the day-to-day people partner for the US team, fielding contract basics and general employee questions.
  • Run equity education sessions so new US hires actually understand their equity.
  • Handle light finance tasks tied to people ops, including invoices and vendor payments for the people function.
  • Partner with the office manager on anything people-related that touches the physical workspace, without owning it.
  • Build relationships across SF's tech and commercial scene, so people know Nothing before they're looking.
  • Feed what you learn back to the global TA and People teams, so Nothing gets sharper about the US market.

What We're Looking For

  • A few years of recruiting experience, ideally with some exposure to the SF Bay Area market.
  • Comfortable moving between full-cycle recruiting and general people ops work in the same week.
  • You've handled contracts, benefits questions, or ESOP basics before, even if HR wasn't your whole job.
  • You're happy picking up light finance tasks like invoicing alongside the people side of the role.
  • You build relationships without waiting to be asked. A warm intro from you carries weight.
  • You bring good judgement to ambiguous situations and know when to solve it yourself versus escalate.
  • You care about candidate and employee experience equally. Recruiting doesn't stop once someone signs.

How We Work

  • Location: San Francisco (Jackson Square office)
  • Working Pattern: Full-time, in-office. We can work around personal needs where it makes sense, but being together is how we do our best work.
  • Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
