Fire Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities

Description

The Facilities Fire team are seeking an energetic Fire Maintenance Supervisor to join GigaFactory Texas. This person will play a critical role in ensuring our maintenance crews are performing optimally, while keeping safety as their North Star. Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading skilled technical staff in installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
• Duties include formulating policies and procedures, supervising daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
• Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules, resolve technical problems, and acts as incident commander during facility excursions; Manage on-shift escalations
• Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Communicates detailed plans for work assignments and is the first point of contact for issues that arise on the shift
• Reviews activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement

Requirements

• Degree in technical field or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance and service of fire protection systems
• 1 or more licenses required RME-I, FAL, and FEL required
• Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for 10+ hours per day
• Capable of obtaining OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire, and also capable lifting at least 20 lbs.
• Work in heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage, and distribution locations, and industrial waste plants
• Support and/or work shift duties in a 24x7 manufacturing environment
