Financial Services Specialist, Collections
Description
As a Financial Services Collections Specialist, you will help manage Tesla's captive vehicle leasing and vehicle loan portfolio in the United Kingdom, Germany and France. Based in the Amsterdam office, you will act as a primary point of contact for customers in these markets and collaborate with internal and external teams to service the portfolio.
The right person for this role will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced, multi-market environment. A successful candidate will be eager to take on responsibilities related to operational efficiency and process improvement. Communication skills are essential, as you will interact with customers daily and collaborate closely with cross functional teams and management to raise and resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contact customers daily through outbound phone calls and campaigns to collect payment
- Demonstrate strong communication skills via phone and email to guide customers through options with empathy and professionalism
- Problem-solve and offer tailored solutions based on each customer's concern and what is permitted in that market, including payment plans and other allowed arrangements
- Manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound customer tasks, including arrears outreach and complaints handling
- Navigate and manage workload using multiple systems and tools, and keep account records accurate for servicing, credit-reporting, and regulatory reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer issues and communicate effectively with management to escalate and address complex issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- Few years of professional work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in an administrative, dealership, or customer-servicing role
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and management
- Previous collections experience preferred
- Experience with vehicle lease or loan products a plus
- French or German speaker a plus
