Position Overview
We are looking for a Finance Project Professional based in Athens, Greece, to join the Finance organization of the Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation (SI EA) business unit. In this role, you will work closely with sales, operations, and project teams, supporting both finance operations and customer project execution. The position combines financial administration, SAP order processing, and Commercial Project Management (CPM) support.
The role is expected to be split approximately equally between financial administration / order processing responsibilities and Commercial Project Management support, providing exposure to both day-to-day finance operations and project business management. It offers a unique opportunity to develop financial, commercial, and project management skills while building a career within a dynamic business environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Create, process and monitor customer orders/projects in SAP including order entry, order confirmations, delivery tracking, invoicing and order/project fulfillment activities
- Processing purchase orders to factories
· Manage warranty and return processes, coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring accuracy in commercial offers, including cost breakdowns and margin analysis
- Applying standard payment terms and managing escalations or deviations in pricing
- Coordinating with proposal managers to ensure that commercial offers align with contractual terms and technical specifications
- Support Commercial Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support financial closing and reporting activities.
- Assist with project budgeting, forecasting and cost controlling.
- Monitor project profitability, cash flow and financial KPIs.
- Support risk and opportunity assessment activities.
- Participate in project review meetings and commercial discussions.
- Ensuring compliance with Siemens’ commercial policies, including export controls and tax regulations
- Actively proposing process optimizations
- Perform and record all order/project financial activities in SAP system (e.g. Order Entry, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, etc.)
What do you need to bring with you?
- Bachelor's degree in in Economics or relevant field.
- 3-5 years of business/commercial experience.
- Experience with SAP is key for the role.
- Good knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken.

The pay range for this position is €28.000–€33.500 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
