We are looking for a Finance Manager support our high growth Amazon Advertising business, namely on our owned and operated device Fire TV. This position involves analytics, strategic thinking, and business partnership skills with Key Product and Engineering leads to influence and track how Amazon Ads performs on Fire TV. This job can be located in either New York or Seattle.

Key job responsibilities
·We are looking for a highly motivated individual to act as CFO overseeing our Ads revenue and full proforma P&L for FTV worldwide
·Partner directly with the business to drive new initiatives, strategic analyses and performance related reporting and reviews
· Lead cross functional work that involves portfolio wide reporting on all display and video advertising formats on Fire TV
· Provide financial insights for periodic business reviews with key stakeholders including senior leaders across Amazon
· Work with BIE and Data Science teams to build for scale and use AI

About the team
This role will be supporting the Devices advertising business and will drive financial planning and forecasting, business operations, goal setting and actively participate in business reviews as CFO of Advertising revenue on our devices. You will work hand-in-hand with your business partners in advertising as well as stakeholders in the Device and sales organizations to run forecasting, and assess financial risk and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
  • 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
  • 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
  • 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • MBA, or CPA
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
