The Role
This finance role offers a unique opportunity to support EA's innovative Ventures Group as we expand beyond traditional gaming and shape the future of interactive entertainment. In this role, you will lead high-visibility projects and analyze financial and operational trends to deliver automated reporting and actionable insights that help our business partners drive strategic growth.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office role based in Vancouver. You will report into the Finance Manager II and support the EA Ventures business.
Responsibilities
- Participate in team meetings, network with the team and the broader FP&A organization, and contribute to our ongoing focus of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and culture
- Develop automated reporting templates and performance dashboards that eliminate manual data aggregation and provide partners with real-time visibility into product financials
- Independently lead and manage a designated strategic project, coordinating deliverables and presenting final recommendations to business partners
- Track key financial metrics and operational KPIs across active venture pillars, delivering concise monthly variance reporting that explains business performance drivers
- Develop an understanding of our core FP&A processes and the deliverables associated with them
- Support business decisions and product strategy by delivering fact-based financial insights, helping the Ventures team evaluate and track project performance to drive long-term ROI
Qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate in finance, business, accounting, or related field
- Experience building structured financial models, designing dashboards (Power BI or Tableau), and using modern AI tools to accelerate data analysis
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to summarise complex financial findings into relevant takeaways for non-finance audiences
- Highly motivated self-starter who can drive financial projects from concept to completion
You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2027.
At this time, we are considering Undergrad students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Pay Transparency - North America
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$60,000 - $65,000 CADPay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
