Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the technology industry, preferably as a Field Application Engineer (FAE), Technical Sales Engineer, or in a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and business/marketing acumen, with the ability to work effectively with customers.

• Ability to understand both the technical requirements and market needs of Industrial and Automotive OEM customers and communicate these effectively to Broadcom product divisions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with global product marketing and engineering teams through meetings, conference calls, and written communication, and to develop customer engagement and technical support plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Good understanding of, and strong interest in, Factory Automation and Automotive applications and markets, including:
  • Inverters
  • Servo motors
  • Battery systems
  • Renewable energy
  • Automotive powertrain systems
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent).
• Strong relationship-management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with both customers and Broadcom’s global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business opportunity development and secure initial mass-production design wins/orders through product promotion and technical support for customers and distributors in:

• • Factory Automation
  • Energy Management
  • Automotive Electronics

• Conduct regular technical and market discussions with customers to understand their current requirements, future technology needs, and product roadmaps.
• Translate customer requirements and market trends into actionable input for Broadcom product divisions and collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for future product development.
• Work closely with Broadcom’s global sales, engineering, and marketing organizations to develop and execute effective customer engagement and account strategies.
• Provide technical support throughout the customer engagement cycle, from initial product introduction and evaluation through design-in and mass production.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

• Gate Drivers
• Voltage Sensors
• Communication Couplers

Key Customers:

Primary customers include: mid size industrial and automotive customers in Japan

Global Collaboration

• Communicate and negotiate effectively with Broadcom’s global sales, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Develop customer-specific strategies in collaboration with relevant product divisions.
• Act as a key technical interface between customers in Japan and Broadcom’s global product and engineering organizations.
