Tesla Energy is seeking an experienced and dynamic Field Supervisor to lead a team of ServiceTechnicians/Electricians, driving operational excellence and technical development. The ideal candidate
will prioritize service execution, ensure efficient troubleshooting and manage schedules while aligning
technician growth with business objectives.
Responsibilities
People Management & Collaboration- Lead Service Technicians/Electricians, fostering their career and technical development through targeted training, performance acceleration mechanisms, and personalized growth plans
- Align individual career ambitions with business needs, ensuring resources and support are provided to upskill teams according to evolving requirements
- Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams (field operations, asset management, product/ project/ support engineering) to drive innovation and operational excellence (efficiency, productivity, quality)
- Collaborate closely with external partners, contractors, DNO & local authorities to ensure seamless project execution and regulatory compliance
- Perform people manager administrative tasks (timecards, vacations, expenses, schedules, training), supporting technicians in following protocols and providing feedback on system efficiency or enhancements
- Set schedules and priorities for equipment service within the assigned region, optimizing resource readiness (parts, tools, personnel, and third-party coordination)
- Ensure efficient, documented troubleshooting and maintain high standards for service quality.
- Deliver weekly operational insights on performance trends, improvements, and process innovations to sustain efficiency and uptime
- Strive to achieve service operational metrics targets, regular goals and OKRs
- High adherence to processes, procedures and systems usage, creating sustainable adherence to innovations. Demonstrated impact in enhancing procedures, processes and innovations
- Promote a culture of excellence by championing EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards, driving continuous improvement in safety and striving for zero EHS incidents
- Fleet ownership ensuring full vehicle compliance
Requirements
- 5+ years in maintenance/ operations with valid driver license
- Fully skilled in servicing Tesla Energy products within scope of supervision
- Ability and desire to lead and motivate a team - previous people manager experience preferred
- Analytical ability to understand and impact operational performance metrics
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English fluency
- Able to travel according to business needs
- Familiarity with BI tools for data visualization and Jira for project management is desirable.
