Responsibilities

1.    Technical Support and Maintenance:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain the company’s technical products and equipment.
  • Provide remote or onsite technical support to customers.
  • Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware and system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.
  • Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on measurement and test equipment.
  • Train customers on product usage and maintenance.

2.    Installation and Optimization:

  • Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products and configurations at customer sites.
  • Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and support provided by the company.
  • Install software and firmware upgrades, which may include re-imaging the customer’s instrument.

3.    Customer Satisfaction and Communication:

  • Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that impact product performance.
  • Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruptions in customers’ business.
  • Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of their test equipment assets.

4.    Integrated Solutions and Training:

  • Deliver fully integrated solutions (does not involve design), including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
  • Serve as an internal resource on technical issues and have knowledge of third-party products.
  • Conduct internal technical training, maintenance seminars, and workshops for field engineers or customers.
  • Train other field engineers or customers as needed.

5.    Lead Qualification and System Expertise:

  • May qualify leads for potential business opportunities.
  • Possess expertise in the company’s systems and products.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or above Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in Support of Test and Measurement instruments, or of equivalent fields
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills are essential
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English to interface with customers and peers.
  • Prior calibration and repair service experience with Keysight Test Equipment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automated calibration software platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to Test and Measurement industry is a plus.

Specific Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Proficiency in RF/Microwave repair and calibration up to 50 GHz is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with High Voltage equipment or knowledge of electrical testing techniques and test equipment is beneficial.
