Description and Requirements

As a Field Global Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end responsibility for driving sales across all Lenovo commercial products and solutions to key retention and development Financial Services and Life Sciences global accounts with a particular emphasis on uncovering and closing Infrastructure Solutions opportunities such as our server, storage, software, TruScale Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Managed Services, and AI Services.

This is a client-facing, retention and development focused sales role that requires deep financial services industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close new lines of business within existing customer accounts as well as uncover and close net new business.  In addition to industry expertise, working large deals at the C-level will be the expectation for this position. We are looking for a sales maker with a successful and proven track record to take their career, and their accounts, to the next level.

This position is remote with at least 30% travel in the Tri-State area and Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute strategic account plans for assigned global customers, driving sustainable revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through consultative selling, cross-selling, upselling, and expansion into new solution areas with an emphasis on ISG.
  • Engage, influence, and build relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective roll-out.
  • Develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals.
  • Coordinate global and regional teams to support RFPs, strategic bids, contract negotiations, and large-scale deal execution.
  • Collaborate with technical, services, supply chain, and business teams to deliver tailored customer solutions, product transition plans and resource planning.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, account governance, and regular business reviews.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Engineering or related field of study
  • 10+ years of Experience as a field and inside sales professional with global accounts
  • 4+ years of Experience selling infrastructure, datacenter, cloud, IaaS or enterprise technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Experience in global or enterprise sales, strategic account management or global account management as a field seller.
  • Experience selling infrastructure, datacenter, cloud, IaaS or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and senior decision makers as the primary point of contact.
  • Experience leading RFPs with global teams and coordinating communications.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and handling internal coordination with clarify and tact.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver clear direction in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to acknowledge the effort and partnership of others.
  • Experience with pipeline management and ensuring forecast accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership with “self-starter” perspective.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 146,580–224,733 USD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
