Field Engineer

Description

Tesla's Self-Perform team is seeking to hire a talented Electrical Field Engineer. Come join our growing team to help accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

• Will be working on a new project from ground up assisting with CMs and PMs
• The Electrical Field Engineer will be out in the field checking on projects, completing RFI’s managing projects onsite where needed
• Break down schedules internally and breakout schedules on P6 or Microsoft Projects
• The Field Engineer will be working with Engineering, Architecture, and Field teams to review the jobs and understand the status of where they are at to report back
• Be able to look at a project and understand how complete it is and what is still needed
• Reviewing plans, verifying project readiness, walking down PI&Ds, working close with field execution
• Provide project updates, progress, installation, qualities

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel and powerpoint
• Ability to Navigate a 3D Model using BIM and Navisworks
• Must be able to read one line drawings
• Must be able to read PI&Ds
• Engineering background is helpful
• Electrical background is preferred
