Texas Instruments is actively seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. The Facilities Manager plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Additionally, the manager oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansions. As a Facilities Manager, you will design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. You will also oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. The role requires you to select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Position Overview

As our Facilities Manager, you will develop and execute a strategic vision for facility growth, technology upgrades, and sustainability, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and industry trends. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a long-term vision for facility growth, technology integration, and sustainability.
    • Champion digital transformation initiatives, including IoT, data analytics, and smart building technologies.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Manage facility support operations, including process tools and cleanroom environments.
    • Oversee maintenance, repairs, modifications, and installations of facility equipment (HVAC, cleanroom systems, waste treatment, deionized water).
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
    • Foster a culture of innovation, risk-taking, and continuous learning.
    • Anticipate industry evolution and proactively adapt infrastructure and talent strategies.
  • Team Empowerment:
    • Inspire and empower teams through clear communication of the facility’s mission.
    • Nurture future leaders and encourage continuous professional development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Build partnerships with internal teams, external partners, contractors, and government agencies.
    • Catalyze investment, drive regional economic growth, and ensure supply chain and operational security.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Establish and enforce systems for equipment training, lab operations, and safety protocols.
    • Monitor and respond to life safety systems, fire alarms, and critical facility alarms.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred); 10+ years of relevant experience in facility operations, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Experience with HVAC, cleanroom mechanical systems, hazardous materials handling, and semiconductor processes (e.g. CVD, photolithography, thin film deposition, plasma and wet etch).
    • Familiarity with software/hardware control systems, SCADA, energy management systems, and digital facility management tools.
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally 
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills. Ability to take initiative and drive for results
    • Demonstrate ability to drive change, manage risk, and inspire a culture of innovation.
